The blue crab can be caught year round in the warmer waters of Tampa Bay. In Gulfport a fishing pier extends into the clear waters of Boca Ciega Bay letting fisherman look and see where the catch of the day is hiding. Fresh blue crab is a very tasty dinner. It can take three or four crabs to satisfy the average adult.
